Call for Expression of Interest: Solutions provider of Global Map Integration for two online platforms
IDH is looking for a qualified Solution Provider to provide and help integrate a more advanced global map into SourceUp and the Jurisdictional Action Network (JAN), two online public good platforms that connect companies, landscape initiatives, and stakeholders driving sustainable production, protection and inclusion at scale.
This assignment will help create the go-to map for Landscape Initiatives around the globe, enabling better visibility and engagement for Initiatives and better access and insight into relevant sustainable investment and engagement opportunities for companies and other stakeholders.
The solution needs to address three currently experienced limitations:
- Lack of a unified map solution - SourceUp and JAN currently use separate map implementations, creating maintenance overhead and inconsistent user experiences.
- Limited GIS layer richness - the current map interface lacks advanced GIS layer functionality and clear visual representation.
- Unreliable landscape GIS data - GIS data specific for the landscape initiatives is currently entered manually from untraceable sources, making it unsuitable for corporate reporting and lacking automatic calculation of standard metrics from shapefiles.
Interested parties with strong map solutions and integration capacity are invited to express their interest. A select number of applicants will then be invited into a competitive dialogue phase, in which further information exchange and solution co-creation will take place, followed by a closed tender for full proposal.
