The global juice supply chain faces pressing challenges, from labour rights and sustainable farming practices to traceability and environmental impact. The Sustainable Juice Covenant (SJC) unites producers, processors, traders, brands, and retailers in tackling these issues collaboratively.
This global initiative provides members with a robust framework to set and achieve sustainability goals while driving field-level projects that improve wages and working conditions, support smallholder farmers, and encourage responsible agrochemical management. Through collaborative action and sharing knowledge and resources, members are committed to making the sourcing, production and trade of fruit- and vegetable-derived juices, purees and their concentrate 100% sustainable by 2030.
