Pulping with purpose for people and planet
From labour issues to farming practices and traceability, much of the global juice supply chain needs a refresh. We coordinated the Sustainable Juice Covenant to provide opportunities for producers, processors, traders, brands and retailers to join forces in addressing the challenges.
This global initiative of leading players provides members with a clear framework for building sustainability targets and ambitions, initiating and coordinating projects at field level to improve wages and working conditions, gender equity, smallholder farmer inclusion and responsible agrochemical management.
Through collaborative action and sharing knowledge and resources, members are committed to making the sourcing, production and trade of fruit- and vegetable-derived juices, purees and their concentrate 100% sustainable by 2030.
