ToR: Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) Framework Development for Regenerative Agriculture Landscape Program

The Regenerative Production Landscape Collaborative (RPLC) aims to build resilient, regenerative agriculture systems that benefit smallholder farmers and promote sustainable, inclusive supply chains. Operating in 10 cotton-growing districts of Madhya Pradesh, India, covering approximately 56,000 sq. km, RPLC works to improve livelihoods and environmental outcomes.

The program targets 100,000 hectares of sustainable cropland, building the capacity of 120,000 farmers in regenerative practices. It also promotes governance to manage 300,000 hectares of land sustainably. By 2026, RPLC aims to engage 15+ private sector partners to invest in responsible sourcing and agricultural sustainability.

The assignment focuses on developing a robust Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) framework to measure the program's impact in areas such as soil health, water stewardship, gender equity, income, biodiversity, and greenhouse gas emissions. This framework will guide partners in tracking and reporting progress, ensuring alignment with global sustainability commitments.

The proposal must be submitted to Preity Khandelwal at khandelwal@idhtrade.org and Bishal Chhetri at chhetri@idhtrade.org before 1800 Hrs Indian Standard Time, 25th October 2024.
